URBAN ASSISTANCE

On the urban front, the district is responsible for reviewing erosion and sediment control plans required for all development projects now underway in the county. During the past several years, the district’s workload has increased dramatically–staffers currently review between 30 and 40 sediment control plans each month. The district is also developing a broad-based educational outreach program to promote the wise use of our natural resources through a variety of programs.
