Susquehanna Lock House Museum, 817 Conesteo Street, Havre de Grace. 09:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Join us for this early spring bird walk where we hope to see some overlap of winter species and early spring migrants. New spring arrivals should include Osprey, rough-winged swallows, pine warblers, and blue-gray gnatcatchers. Lingering overwintering species and residents may include song sparrow, white-throated sparrow, red bellied woodpecker and brown creeper. Of course, we will also keep an eye on the river for ducks and bald eagles.

Walk is FREE, no registration is required. We will begin at the parking lot at the Lock House Museum. The trails may be muddy so proper footwear is recommended. Hikes will last 1.5-2 hours. Bring binoculars to get the best views of the birds. • https://hdgreen.org.
